Pictures are much improved! The overall neighborhood seems to have have improve a bit, but the asking price might be ambitious given that some of the basics are still lacking. Landscaping is very basic, lack of a garage is not a positive, access via alley that is not well surfaced is not attractive. Any chance you can ask the municipal authorities if there is a schedule for paving? That might help convince folks things are on an upward swing...

Knowing the city of Indianapolis, I'm pretty sure there is no paving scheduled.
This price is very ambitious for neighborhood that's just beginning to see some changes considering that the median price in Indianapolis is about $155,000.
Close to the downtown area there are other neighborhoods that are further along in the gentrification process (read more neighborhood amenities) where one can buy a house a similar price.
Yikes. Again, i don't know Indianapolis very well at all but streetview of that neighborhood seems nicer and the interior definitely feels more roomy. Way better curb appeal too.
If buyers are comparing these two listings...OP's house doesn't have a shot with this nicer house priced $30k lower!
Well, I'm not familiar with your area or state at all, but what I would do is start by changing the price to $250,000. My .02 is if you are not getting showings, and no offers not even low-ball the house is overpriced.
Inside is nice.
I do not like the yard in front at all. Can you plant some bright pretty, flowers for the front under the windows? Is that a fence dividing the house and the neighbor? Would you be able to plant some privacy hedges instead? I would paint the wood fence and get rid of that big tree.
I wouldn't want to live so close to power lines either but maybe that is how it is in the area. I'd probably pass on your house because I have kids and there is not a private yard for them to play in and no garage.
Dropped the price to $251,900, which strikes me as odd. I would have gone to $249,900, to get the people looking at houses up to $250,000. Just had another thought. When it snows, who is responsible for plowing the alley to your parking space? It doesnt look like its a named road, so I assume the homeowners have to plow the alleyway? I dont know, just asking.

I wonder whats happening to this area? Theres been a lot of houses in this area in the general price range of the OPs, and they have been dropping the prices, sometimes as much as $20,000. How does an area like this cool down so quickly? Lots of houses for sale now, most look like flips.
Looks like this is one of those areas that everyone bought into to flip and over improved and saturated the market. Homes all around the OPs are dropping their prices. Interesting to see how a neighborhood like this has to adjust to the market.
This one right around the corner, without an alley next to it, and with a garage.
