Hi!

We are moving down in April so my daughter can start a new school in Apex on Jordan Lake. While we are getting to know the area before buying a house, we would like to rent an apartment or townhome. Any help you all could give would be greatly appreciated. Here is what we are looking for:
  • 3 bedrooms, with 1 large enough for a king size bed
  • No more than 20-25 mins from Route 64 at Jordan Lake in Apex and 10 minutes from a grocery store
  • Decent amenities (like a pool)
  • Small dogs allowed (we have a 10 pound maltese/poodle mix)
  • Short term lease option (6 months)
  • No more than $1200 per month if possible
Again, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. We are going to come down in February to look at complexes and make a decision then about where to have the moving truck go in April!

I would look at private rentals in Haddon Hall townhomes. Also I believe there are some nice ones in Scotts Mill. There is an entire townhome rental community on 55 called Beaver Creek Townhomes...but they are rumored to be pretty nasty.
