Hi

Planning on moving to Sanford, NC this summer with my girlfriend, will be renting an apartment where rent is $585/month in a 1br/1ba 822sq ft place.

I emailed the manager and she said that no utilities are included in rent, so I was wondering what would the average price be per month for 2 people living in an 822 sq ft apartment? Electricity, water, cable/internet, whatever makes the water hot, etc...

any help would be much appreciated.,

I live in a 900 sq. ft apt. In the summer my power bill is about $50 a month, but I keep it warm-ish during the day while I'm at work, and get lots of natural sunlight so don't use a ton of lights. My water is free so I can't help there, but in the past when I've paid for it, it's been dirt cheap.... like $25 every other month or something. I just watch the free channels on tv, and pay $19.95/mo for Road Runner Lite internet. I'm a pro at living for cheap, so my estimates might not be great. I'll be interested to see what others say.

In an apartment it's likely to be electric, but it could also be natural gas.
