Try to check out either the Carolina Mudcats or Durham Bulls minor league baseball. It is very fan friendly and relatively inexpensive. Durham Bulls are AAA affiliate of Tampa and Mudcats are AA affiliate of the Marlins. The kids will love it.

I am not sure if it would matter to you or not, but my realtor said that Fuquay and Holly Springs real estate market is dead... If you love it than go for it, but if you do end up moving resale could be tough.
