My wife and I are hoping to move as soon as we sell our current home. Our daughter and family live in Apex. We looked at some homes in the Holly Springs-Fuquay area during the holidays but really can't do anything serious until we sell. In the meantime we have been checking homes thru the computer and have an agent sending us homes that are in our price range. We have noticed a number of homes in various developments that are located in Harnett Co. and would like to have some information as to distance from Apex and anything else that might influence our choice. I am particularly talking about Dexterfield, Victoria Hills and any other area near Fuquay Varina. Depending on what we get for our current home, we are probably talking around the $185,000 to 200,000 price range.

We live in Harnett county just outside of F-V. 20 minutes +/- to Apex, depending on what side you go to. I have made it to Hickory Street in Cary in 20 minutes as well, of couse with good traffic.

We love this area so far. Homes hav ebeen going fast out here and not a lot on the market, but that should change soon as there is a lot of building going on.

What else can I help you with?

Thanks for the response. I think we have seen more homes listed in our price range in Harnett Co. We looked at some homes in Fuquay-Varina but they were still in Wake Co. I was particularly interested in how far Dexterfield and Victoria Hills were from the city. Once we sell our current home we will need to find a new place quickly.

Where are you moving from??
We are waiting for our house to sell, and then we are off as well. We are coming from CA.

We are probably buying in Victoria hills. It is about 15-20 min to the mall in Cary. About 10 min to grocery etc.
