I'm looking for a mechanic for my 2001 Mistubishi Galant. I just relocated from the DC area so I have no idea who is trustworthy and has resonable prices. I'm a woman but I do know a little about cars and I'm not trying to have some one try to take advantage of me because they see a 20-something female walk in the door.
Thanks for any help
I use Colony Tire in the shopping precinct at the start of New Falls of Neuse and find the guys in there pretty honest. Maybe not the cheapest, but there doesn't seem any dodginess or sleaziness to the business which helps!

Quality Pus Automotive in Wake Forest (Near Heritage). The most honest people I have come across since moving here. I don't know if they service Mitsubishi's though....

Couldn't agree more with the suggestion of Quality Plus Automotive. We have a Honda and a Toyota and we have had nothing but the BEST service from them and their honesty is refreshing!! Our cars are 16 years old and 9 years so you know we are there more often with these oldies...but there is no point replacing them when you have great mechanics!!!
At most grocery stores there are little stands that have free pamphlets with local info in them. There's a couple of christian business guides. These highlight businesses where the owner professes to be a christian. Assuming that the owners are being honest about that, those should be honest mechanics.
Thanks again folks. I've met too many dishonest Christians in my life time (my family included) so I'm kinda wary of people touting their religion as a reason to trust them LOL!
I have gone to The Car Place on Oak Forest in North Raleigh for several years. My father-in-law has also taken his cars there for a long time. They are absolutely the best, they will tell you if you can wait to get something fixed or if it needs to be done now and their prices are competitive. They will be moving to a new location on Spring Forest.
