Around 6 PM I guess.

My house in Durham did, as did the houses of my neighbors, but I wasn't sure how big the outage was; localized or something bigger. Didn't see anything in the N&O this morning. Lasted about 20-30 minutes.

We are in SW Durham not far from Southpoint. To my knowledge, we had no power outage yesterday. I'm sure I would have heard from DD or MIL if we had.

Where in Durham are you?

I didn't lose power either. I'm about a mile north of Southpoint.

We also lost power in Wake Forest for about 1.5 hours at 4 pm. I called Wake Electric and was told a feeder line went out. It sounds like it was related to increased usage due to the heat. I wish in this day and age they reported major outages on their website and/or by email. It was also impossible to reach them during the outage on their 800 number.
