I'll start!

I've lived in North Raleigh for over 3 years now and while I have been all over the Traingle from Wake Forest to Clayton and Wendell to Hillsborough I've never once set foot in Holly Springs

I am going to try and remedy that this weekend and make a trip there to check out their farmer's market (http://www.hollyspringsnc.us/farmersmarket/ - broken link) this saturday.

So what parts of the Triangle have you yet to see? Do you plan to check other areas out?

Well, I'm new here, and haven't seen most of the Triangle, but I would like to visit Clayton just to see what it looks like. And since I went to school in Durham before the renaissance of downtown Durham (Sat's was still in its old location when I got here), I'd like to check out the changes around there.

NRG,

If you get down to Holly Springs, make sure you stop into the Carolina Brewing Company for a fresh cold one and a tour.
You'll swear off that sody pop beer...

I've managed to see most of the area over the last 5 years. Somehow I missed Hillsborough, and I really haven't spent much time in Durham (although I haven't avoided it intentionally).

I have hit some of the hotspots for relocated yankees including Lizard Lick, Crocker's Nub, and 5 county stadium.

Never been to the new suburbs in the east - Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, those types of places....hit pretty much everything else at some level or another. It's just so dang far from SW Durham

I've been here for 3 months. Live in Cary, work in Durham so I've been all around both places. I've also been throughout Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Carrborro, Apex, Garner, Holly Springs and Fuquay Varina. I've really liked them all - each town has a different flavor.

On my short list of places to go next: Wake Forest and Hillsboro. I've heard there are some great art galleries in Hillsboro.

We've lived here over 2 years, and still haven't made it to Chapel Hill. Maybe this weekend.... Also haven't seen much of Durham, except for Southpoint Mall. Never been to Rolesville, Creedmoor, or Wendell either...

This is quite an interesting question.........I am a native (basically) and grew up in chapel hill, but this was before I40, so we rarely went to raleigh, much less cary! Now, I think the only place I haven't been to (that I remember) is wendell. I had to run a list of the towns through my head, and wendell might be it!

I have lived in chapel hill, durham, raleigh (near ncsu), north raleigh, apex, cary, holly springs, and now wake forest...........

Leigh

after I typed that, I thought the same thing..........what are people going to THINK of me for my house hopping! No....

Grew up in chapel hill
College in greensboro
Worked and lived in durham
Grad school and lived near ncsu
Met the hubby - moved to north raleigh
Moved again to durham
Moved again to cary
Finally realized apartment living wasn't for us so
bought our first house in holly springs
Bought next house in apex
Then finally wake forest................

scary though. I don't want to move again any time soon
