Without a doubt one of my favorite spots in Wake County. Great place to take a walk or run and people watch.

My favorite Raleigh lake.
Warning if you are biking with kids who are just learning;some steep hills
that you don't know are coming. My 6 year old was ahead of me and came
down a very steep hill. After he made it to the bottom in one piece he told me
"mom..I was praying the whole way down..but I kept my eyes open!"
