This is off of Forestville Rd. Right in North Raleigh? I think that area is the next hot spot, and it's still affordable. Still lots of room. It's very fairly priced and individuals buying would have a lot to gain in the future in my honest opinion. Check out The Landings and Neuse Crossing too (Very Beautiful Architecturally).

Yes I do think the area is "up and coming" many new developments out there for sure. I have two concerns:

The schools (if that is an issue), I haven't heard great things about the middle and high school, but that is all hearsay from people who have had kids in them.

The lot sizes are awfully small (.14) for that area. That is is kind of in between north raleigh, well north of what I consider north raleigh, and south of wake forest. Yes, they will build things closer to there in the future. My guess is you would go to wake forest for the things you need.

I am buying a home in Massey Preserve. They do have a few larger lots. Our is about a 1/4 acre. You just have to tell them what you are specifically looking for. I have found them very easy to work with. Plus the builders will allow you to customize your floor plan to some extent... which is a plus.
