It's an indication that the parcel is just isn't so prime.

I get what you're saying here... the surrounding businesses and optics, along with the traffic would make it tough for a fresh, new development there... the more I think about it, it really says a lot about that location, although it would appear prime.

Good observation.

I think it would take multiple investors to essentially "buy up the block" transforming it into whatever unimaginative development they have in mind.

Or perhaps more "prime" in the seller's mind. Looks like at one point the attempted to have it zoned residential.

Nah. That was the motel down by the Foxy Lady.

It's right in front of Highwoods. I suspect it would've done better as part of Highwoods. At one point, it was probably a very good hotel for executives visiting the businesses in Highwoods.

I understand that but, golly, poor guy is the brunt of every joke and personally I'm tired of it. What's sad is if people would actually pay attention to what he's saying he is actually making a lot of sense.

Not sure I'd go that far. But I'm sure he's glad someone agrees with him.

I think people are tired of the regurgitated negative diatribe that he speaks all the time. When your viewpoint is fairly static and you use the same words (boomtown, tinderbox, transplants, etc) in every post you make, people tend to gloss over your thoughts at a certain point and put a label on you.
