I have a residency interview at 3 facilities in NC in this order.

Butner, NC - Chapel Hill, NC - then back to, Butner, NC

I have no idea where to stay. Durham? I will have to be at interviews early at all sites. Any recommendations on hotels that might fit the bill?

How much downtime between interviews would be my determining factor. If you want some recreation and relaxing time I would suggest Chapel Hill. Not too far a drive and I know several people who live in Chapel Hill ,mostly for the schools, and work in Butner.

A great mid-point would be the Red Roof Inn on North Pointe Drive in Durham. It would be an easy drive to either of the locations from there.

La Quinta inn on 15-501 in Durham is a decent hotel. Your drive to Butner will be about 20 min, drive to UNC about 10 min (much shorter distance, but alot of traffic lights)

I'm not sure what you mean by "complex hotel needs"? Do you need specific amenities, or are you just asking regarding central location?

Since you start and end in Butner, why not just get a hotel in Butner? That's what I would do.

The closest place with a hotel/motel is Creedmoor, with a Best Western, Econlodge, and Ramada Limited.

I thought there would be more options in Durham. I prefer to stay at newer hotels also like hyatt place, Hilton garden inn. Near restaurants would be nice too. Not much downtime between them really. I read bad things about hotels in creedmor. Thanks for thoughts everyone.
