We are still waiting to close on our house, but I need to get my son involved in a Fall baseball program, and I'm afraid I may have missed some deadlines already.

I need somewhere close to our home in Clayton/Riverwood Middle School district. My son is 12, and has been playing in competitive leagues each year. In our league IL, we had what was called "competitive majors" which was more competitive than a standard recreational league, but not as demanding as a travel league. This is exactly what I am looking for if possible.

Any recommendations? I found a fall league for "Clayton Little League" ... any input or other recommendations?

Susan

Unfortunately, that one will not work for us because my son turns 13 at the end of September. Any other suggestions?

I would call Stacy Houser, Clayton High School Baseball Coach (919) 553-4064 and Larry Bailey, Town of Clayton Parks and Recreation Director (919) 553-1550. One of them should be able to give you contact information. Good luck and welcome to Clayton. If not, repost and I will do some checking.
