Im in need of an honest mechanic in the Youngsville, Rolesville, Wake Forest or Louisburg area.

Honest, reliable & an inexpensive tow would be ideal

I have used Import Quality Repairs in Wake Forest. Small shop and the owner does a good job. Here is the site for his address. Does more than Imports too.

Steve Hayes. He is near the intersection of 98/96 and has a shop behind his house. Dont know his number offhand but he is fantastic and very reasonably priced. This coming from someone with an affinity for cars. I Have/had a 69 vette, jeep cj7, 79 z28 and grew up helping my father restore muscle cars.

Piper Automotive is great. Ask for Dane. They are in Raleigh but worth it.

Default Mechanic

Someone mentioned Pete Smith in Rolesville ... he's great for lube jobs and routine maintenance, but expensive and not always accurate on diagnosis with repairs. He's misdiagnosed things on our Chevrolets before.

Jack Strickland 496-2555 (just off Hwy. 98 about three miles from Hwy. 401 going towards Bunn) is a SUPER affordable mechanic. (My husband often pays him extra because he doesn't think he charges enough for his time and trouble!) He just enjoys helping people. He puts the neediest person at the top of his list, too.

IMHO there is no better technician at diagnosing and solving problems than Dan Lamson at AutoTech. Quality service, reasonable pricing, honest- He will not sell you something that you do not need or perform an unnecessary repair.
