Noticed this place while at Waverley Place tonight. Seemed packed for a Tuesday night. Has anyone eaten there?

Yes. I enjoyed it. Really nice to sit outside and enjoy a meal. I'll definitely be going back.

What did you try while you were there?

The chef came to our table to say hello. She had this wonderful Italian accent (like really from Italy, not the Bronx).

Good food, good service and yes, sitting out on the patio looking at the beautiful fountains and gas lanterns is a fantastic setting.

We ate there and won't go back. Food took forever and was not that good. Tables that came in well after us were being serveed well ahead of us so there must have been some mix-up. The manager/owner couldn't have cared any less. The chef did come out to talk to us and comped us a dessert but even that was not good.

My husband apparently went here with his mother while I was out of town. He said the food was very good but the service was simply awful. They ordered an appetizer that never came and when he mentioned it when their entrees were being served, the waitress replied, "Oh yeah I forgot about it. It's been sitting on the line so I'll go get it now." Obviously they didn't want their appetizer after the food arrived Drinks were never refilled, etc. It's a shame because I wanted to try the place but I doubt I can convince him to give it a second try.

DH and I went a few months ago (on a Saturday night) and had a great time. We ordered a meatball appetizer and it was delicious. The pasta dishes we ordered were also yummy. Went back another day for lunch with a friend - and the service was not as a good, but the food was. Reading these comments, it seems there are a lot of mixed reviews, however, I'd go back again. Waverly Place needs patrons!

We've never been there, but Greg Cox did a review for the N&O last week. 3.5 stars

I was just there this weekend. We decided we won't be going back. The chicken parm was so salty it had to go back. The lasagne was all bechemel sauce. I likened it to Hamburger Helper with slightly better ingredients. All cheese, miniscule meat. Even the waitress said she hasn't tried everything because some things just don't look good. She also said people send food back all the time.

Lol. Guess she won't be nominated for employee of the month any time soon.

We went there a couple months back and enjoyed our meal, although I do seem to recall there was some snafu with somebody's meal coming out in the a timely manner.
