My husband was pulled over here last evening on his way home from Durham...approximately 5:00 pm. Very strange, he was given a written warning that his license plate wasn't fully visible due to the "Southern States" plate frame.
License Plate Obstruction Law came into effect recently (don't remember exactly when) per which there should not be anything that impairs the view of the full license plate

Very understandable, considering they take pics of your tag on the new toll road. At least they are going with warnings...

We pay police officers to enforce the speed limits.
And in the town I live in that's about the ONLY thing they do. Forget, drug dealers, gun toting gang members, domestic violence, just make sure you don't go 2 miles over the speed limit.
