My family and I are relocating to Raleigh next summer. We can live anywhere since my husband will work from the home. We have looked at briar creek, Wakefield, Bedford, heritage, and at abbington in apex. Most important to us is a kid friendly neighborhood with a pool. Raleigh is a great area with a lot of nice neighborhoods. Any input on these neighborhoods would be great or suggestions for other ones.

This is a really tough question to answer because people around here tend to love the town they live in............I live in wake forest and absolutely LOVE it, others would say it is "too far out", many of my friends live in Cary (I did at one time) and they love it, I am not a big fan of the area. You will find these stories with everyone from Wendell to Holly Springs to North Raleigh! I think it just depends on the vibe you get from an area!

Heritage in wake forest has a very nice pool, loads of families and activities, but I am sure the same can be said for many many neighborhoods throughout the triangle (like bedford, cary park, etc)
