Yeah, check out the Morrisville location at lunchtime on a weekday - not exactly hurting for business.
I love Randy's. I love Groupon. But I won't buy since it excludes the Morrisville location. The Durham location, eh, okay, but depending on when you go it's over-run with school kids. I'm too old for those whippersnappers.
Just FYI, the Randy's in RTP on Miami is not part of the other Randy's in the area. The guy that runs the RTP location (super nice guy named Dave) used to be business partners with Randy, but he split off on his own. At least I think that's what he told me.
Not sure why he didn't change the name. Both places have great pizza, but I always go to the Miami place because Dave runs it like a well-oiled machine and he's nice to my family. The addition he added is really paying off well for him.

They are franchising, so they have multiple locations and probably owned by partners, including Dave.
Why is there pizza so good? I've never tried it, nor have heard any good comments, only in this thread. You say it's good, but why is it good? Sauce? Dough? Toppings? How is it baked? Stone ovens or conveyor belt? Is it cooked on a screen, flat on a stone or in a pan?
Thanks!
