Curious is there any decent NY style pizza places? We are moving from NYC soon to the area. My family will want the to still have pizza so what's the options?

There's an entire SECTION in there on pizza.

And the best NY pizza is always gonna be right there in NY.

(This pizza thing is a hotly-debated topic here in the Triangle, you see)

Enjoy your search!

Ok, I'll "bite."

Bella Mia in Cary is legit, but for dine-in only -- it doesn't travel well. Pizzeria Toro in Durham -- whenever it reopens from a fire -- is also worthy of your attention. In terms of NY style (grab a slice and go or takeout pies) like you're probably used to, the pickings are slim.

Some will tell you to try Randy's on S. Miami in Durham, but those are not the droids you're looking for. Mamma Mia in Apex is solid.

Hee hee. This is a hot topic.

Still, I was just thinking of ordering pizza, then remembered that I just ordered pizza the other day. I love pizza so much.

My go to place is Randy's on MLK in Durham. Eager to try Mamma Mia but I live nowhere near there.

I love NY Pizza & Anna's Pizza, and I've heard Cristo's is good too but I've never been.
