Hard not to like Ron because he's such a nice guy, but 2X on the waiting around, especially for a small job - I've been on his waiting list for more than 6 months for a small job; I'm thinking about doing it myself. If you don't mind being a nag, he will show up sooner if you call him 2 or 3 times a week.

No they (CCS) don't do the seawalls in PGI. Marine Contracting Group has had the contract for the city seawalls for over a decade. They (MCG) are the ones to call when you need quality work at a fair price, they have the experience, answer and return calls, and work as quickly as possible. All of the things I hear nobody else does!

Well now I need to have ideas of pre-stressed concrete vs. "2.5 cca" wood for the pilings. Wood can be "wrapped". I have to say I'm skeptical about the wood. Thoughts/experience w/either?

My dock permit went in on the 6th and completed today...went faster than I was led to believe it would thank goodness. Now scheduling the construction...should have a dock in about 2 weeks I hope. whoop whoop!
