I'm really looking forward to moving to Canada once my citizenship papers get sorted out. I just cannot deal with hot weather.
I am shocked there are apartments in Danville with no AC! I thought the whole tri-valley had AC!

We're supposed to get that tomorrow. I may actually get through a day at work without using my heater.

Every now and then I like to indulge in a bacon cheeseburger from Carl's Jr. Every month for years, I have received coupons from them in the mail. One of the coupons has always been for free fries and a drink with the purchase of the burger I like. Three months ago, I used the coupon for the first time ever. I then decided that I can only go if I have the coupon.

The last two months, they've had different coupons and that's not one of them.

Just checked into my hotel. The bed is so high I have to practically jump on. No just leaning over to sit on it. It is roughly door knob height.

We technically did, but it didn't work (it just blew hot air around, and the landlord never had any interest in fixing anything). That's what we got for going cheap ($2500/month rent).

This is a serious problem.

On Words With Friends recently, I think I had every "i" in the entire realm. In fact, I sent my former boss (my nemesis) a message that said, "If you're looking for an I, I have all of them. I wish I could give you a few of them."

This messed up my whole groove. In fact, that game is still going and now I have four "i"s as well as several "u"s. Life is hard.

We are furnishing our new house. Wife decided we would go antique. We drove all the way to Minneapolis to an upscale antique boutique. Spent the whole day and they did not have a single piece of new furniture in the entire store.

Thank you. She was real upset obviously, that was her first car and she researched it, found it, set up financing and got the down payment together (ok, her mother and I gave her some of it) all by herself. We would have given her one of our older ones but she wanted her own.

Today's problem is related:
Progressive has totaled out the car but hasn't told her what the pay out to her will be (I've looked and it be around $3K).

So, not wanting to car shop without that number our shopping trip for one today is on hold. And it's raining.

Oh, she's found one and has discovered that a new Fit is only about $1K or so more than a used one.

I was making these cheesecake cookies from my childhood and my mixer died. So I had to stir the batter by hand really hard. Now my arm hurts. How did people in the Middles Ages or even the 19th century make cheesecake cookies?

The weather around here is driving me crazy. It's in the 50s in the morning and in the high 70s by the afternoon. How am I supposed to know how to dress this time of year?

I have a bunch of debris/trimmings from a couple trees and I can't get my damned chipper-shredder to start.
