Forget about the chicken and turkey. I think I've got a grill big enough now to Spatchcock a 60lb or maybe 70lb whole pig and this is not a made up cockamamie story.
It's a fabulous word even if I have no idea what it means. Which means I will use it in the wrong context - but it will till be a fabulous word.
Spatchcock for dinner doesn't sound good. Spatchcock as a word to describe a person sounds terrific. "My goodness, what a spatchcock he is."
