The iced grande soy latte I got from starbucks this morning began sweating as I walked to my car because it's so humid out here in FL. The condensation I guess from the hot air and cold drink caused the cup to be dripping with water. It was annoying to have to deal with a wet cup and have to get a napkin out of my center console to pat it dry.
^^ My glasses can fog up with condensation going from air conditioning to outside heat. Some days I have to keep taking them off and wiping them clean every time I go outside, if I don't want to see the world through a screen of tiny droplets for several minutes. Several long minutes when otherwise I might bump into things or people. It's a struggle.
Oh yes, the humidity. This is my cross to bear as well. Glasses fogging up, hair going all wonky, a fine sheen of sweat the minute I walk out the door, having to carry a sweater with me on the hottest days because sure as the world, the restaurant or movie theater is going to be air conditioned down to 65 degrees and my sweat wet clothes are going to get cold and clammy almost immediately. Honestly, life is just so tiresome sometimes.

Darling, you must find the strength to muster on......just lie back and think of England.
Recently I put a spray bottle of sunscreen in a backpack to have it handy. Smart move, I thought. Wrong. Thing popped open and filled the pack with liquid sunscreen and got it all over bottled water and plastic wrapped tissue. On the upside, the sunscreen made the truck smell pleasant, not that it needed it. I wiped out the pack and its contents with paper towels. Now how to get oily sunscreen from making the washing machine smell like sunscreen for the next 40 years? I'm thinking of soaking it in the kitchen sink with some Dawn to cut the oiliness. If that works out, i may pop it in the washer. Previous generations you just wore long sleeves or burned. Dang.
These last two posts about humidity and such are truly heartrending. I need a moment.
would you like a hug homina...(((((hugs for homina))))
