Like I said...regardless of what his stats say, he is a downhill, tough runner, especially in the open field.
Of course he is..I agree, but where the hell was he all year? Talk about overrated.
Heh, trust me between Jacobs and Cruz who do you think was a bigger factor in the Giants making the playoffs? Look, I love Jacobs but talk about a guy who doesn't always show up!

I don't think he's over or underrated. He hasn't been a major factor, true--and Cruz had more to do with them making the playoffs. However I think opponents are far more worried about what he can do than they are about Cruz or Hicks. I think defense coordinators are more concerned about getting bodies on Jacobs than they are worried about covering Cruz.

I would be willing to bet that if you surveyed all the offensive coordinators in the NFL on which NYG back they fear more, Jacobs or Bradshaw, almost all of them would choose Bradshaw. Jacobs is big, but he needs a huge hole to run through and a head of steam. Once he gets there, he is dangerous.
I give the Giants a reasonable chance against Green Bay. They will have to put Rogers on his butt all day and win the turnover battle.
The bigger issue for the Giants will be getting through New Orleans if they beat the Packers.
Looking forward to a great game this weekend, fortunately the Packers Oline is finally healthy and back together. I have a feeling they will be very, very busy!
True, that was 2007, different team now. Packers beat them 45-17 at Lambeau, a little over a year ago, plus beat them this year, not by much but a win!
The win this year, they were down key players on offense and defense, those guys are back!
Anyone heard anything today on Aaron Ross? I think the Giants have to have him to have a puncher's chance...
No doubt//I havent heard anything
