I had hard wire mesh on my crawl spaces, never a problem with rodents and I lived rural in lots of locations.
And I sprayed under the house once a year to keep down insects until I learned that a praying mantis nest or two in warmer climates worked just great to rid all of those insects.

HERE: Radon Mitigation: How to Remove Radon Gas From Your Home

is an informative site on mitigation.

They also have a really nifty sign. I want one for the door on my crawl space.

If you would like to buy in Granite Dells, post one of these signs at the entrance and wait for the prices to drop.

> Is there a respirator I can wear when down there to avoid breathing radon?

No. It's a gas atom. If air gets through radon gets through.

The sign would keep away intruders.

If I lived in Granite Dells I would post one of those signs on my lawn to tee off the Realtors.

You can buy a good canister respirator for around $30 at HD or Lowes. I believe they stop most of the gas.

That would look great sitting at the entrance of a home in Granite Dells.
