Biden is an idiot... the aid workers were only deterring Israeli forces but to meet deterrence with lethal force... that was a very bad move on Israel's part... for instance, there are anti-whalers who use force (via ship, water cannons, stink bombs, etc) to disrupt whalers, does that entitle whalers to use machine guns on the anti-whalers? Nope... Biden needs to smarten up a bit.. the Israeli response was grossly inappropriate... there are plenty of ways to isolate the Gaza strip... gunning down aid workers is probably the least appropriate way...
If Israel limited its thuggery to defending itself it might be barely acceptable. However Israel seems to think it has some kind of infinite right to attack anyone anywhere if they pose a perceived threat to Israel or their leash holders in the US.
Israel has a right to defend itself and its people who have been under constant attack for many decades. Americans cannot fathom the constant mortar attacks and suicide bombers whose sole purpose is to kill Israelis randomly.
Maybe the "leash holdes in the US" should throw down the leash and let Israel handle its terrorist neighbors in the ways the know best.

Deterring with 8' long steel pipes is a lethal weapon.
All that would happen to peaceful aid workers, is they would steer the ship to Haifa, Israel inspect the cargo to make sure their are no weapons, and send it on its way to its intended destination. Peaceful aid workers do not beat the living crap out of people, unless they want to escalate matters.
Whalers on a ship are not at war, Israel is at war with the people these ships were headed to.
Remember, Egypt is a part of the naval blockade too.
Vice President Joe Biden defended Israel's handling of the raid on a Gaza aid flotilla, departing from the Obama administration's posture of wait and see.
Biden said Israel has an absolute right to defend its security interests. "It's legitimate for Israel to say, 'I don't know what's on that ship. These guys are dropping eight -- 3,000 rockets on my people," Biden said.
The flotilla of six ships, loaded with assistance for the Gaza Strip's 1.5 million residents and aimed at breaching Israel's blockade of the strip, was organized in part by a Turkish group that has ties to Hamas, the terrorist group that controls Gaza.
Good! They tried avoiding the check points when they were required to stop but they didn't. What happens if you were trying to avoid being checked by Customs agents? Enough said!

How is an offensive commando raid in the middle of the night in international waters defense? What's truly disappointing is the Israeli apologists' willingeness to rubber stamp all of Israel's actions as defense and legitimate.
By that you mean that Israel should be free to masssacre the Palestinians don't you so soI11.
When Israel attacked Gaza they killed 1,300 men women & children. They used White Phosperous against the civilian population of Gaza (which is against the Geneva convention) now they are trying to starve them.
Most modern day Israeli's have parents who were born in Europe, Russia & the US, the Palestinian people who have been there for thousands of years had to stand by when their land was taken from them & given to the Iraeli's
The Holocaust has certainly been costly for Palestinians, it seems that it gives Israel the right to murder it's nieghbours, take their land & anything else they fancy & blame the Palestinians for it.
Oh and by the way check how many Israeli's have died from morter & rocket attacks & then check out the Palestinian people killed in the last five years, you might be suprised, but then again I don't suppose you care do you?

Yes, it was obviously their right to inspect the ship. When someone refuses request to inspect, it is only for two reasons:
1. They are hiding something
2. They are trying to provoke a fight
