Um....not necessarily, though you'd have to ask him. You could make the argument that society has failed the mugger, pushing him towards a life of crime. Had better social services been at his disposal (or her, shouldn't be sexist), perhaps he would've turned out to be a more productive member of society instead of being relegated to its fringes by racial and socioeconomic status.*

*Not saying I agree with this argument, just an example

A liberal is a conservative who hasn't been mugged yet.

My grandparents in Queens in the 1960s-1970s were quite liberal until their house got broken into on a monthly basis and they had to move becaues the area became so dangerous.

That's about the most stupid reasoning I've heard all Month.

Most "libs" are for enforcing laws and sending criminals to jail if need be.

Where we draw the line is the "Government" breaking the law and infriging on civil liberties.

You so scared to death you would happily let the government take your rights away....LOL

Like the right to have a gun helped the girl in Ballston who was beaten, kidnapped, raped, and left for dead near Quantico.

Besides, what makes you think that I in any way, shape, or form support the gun ban?

And I'm an old liberal who has had terrible things occur in my life and I'm still a liberal.
What's your point?

Okay. What makes you think that the muggers are liberals? I doubt that most criminals vote or endorse political candidates. Your argument and generalizations are still very ridiculous. Like I said I know many liberals who have been victimized, their poltical views were not affected by it.

Ahh good. Finally, at last, that will teach those Hollywood types a lesson. Who do they think they are, walking around outside? Serves them right!

I don't care how many of you i disagree with politically, that does not mean, i wish you to be robbed, or threatened just because of your political undertones, that is just stupid, inmature, and childish. Look around, crimes are commited on everyone these days, race, gender, and religion, and political party, has nothing i believe to do with it, a bunch of evil people out there.
