Why does the father have to pay the protester? Is it for reimbursing legal fees that the protester incurred defending a lawsuit filed by the father that the father lost?
Bill O'Reilly of Fox News paid the father's court decision. O'Reilly will also continue to cover the story when it comes up in front of the Supreme Court in a couple months.
If you go through the first couple pages of this thread there are many links that you can find to donate to this father's legal fund and many articles about the travisty that happened to this soldier and his family when they tried to bury him.
The messages from Westboro Baptist Church are sickening, but I think that free speech is more important than protecting the feelings of those who are offended by their messages. If the protesters are in a public place and they're not putting the public in danger, I think they have a right to be there and say whatever they want.
Agreed. I think it's funny that they hate America SO much, but in no other country would their behavior be tolerated.
The funny thing is shirley said the last thing that would bother her is somebody picketing her family members funeral, but I believe that to be a crock b/c look at how defensive her and her klan members get when someone challenges them. And don't you dare bring up her first born son!
