If you care about the US you should care about Israel, because without that little country there, the Jihadists will be all over here killing us.
Not to mention, that without the all the information that we got from Israel over the years including complete weapon systems and fighter airplane from USSR, (that supplied the Arabs) the cold war would not have ended.
