PETA was REQUESTED by Hertford, Bertie and Northampton COUNTIES to help euthanize animals that were there in inhumane overcrowded conditions and were being euth'd in MASS GAS CHAMBERS and if you know anything about euth process it is painful and horrendous to be euth'd that way instead of a needle. These are poverty shelters where the animals don't even have a roof or dry ground to be on BEFORE dying.

They were found not guilty of any wrongdoing by a jury.

Further, the counties have CHANGED their euth procedures based on this trial.

Before taking on the views of the websites that are put up by lobbists for restaurants, grocerys, alcohol and other PETA enemies, do your research.

The same group bashes Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.

PETA is one of the most ridiculous fear mongering groups to ever have been formed. They're hypocritical, have no idea what they're talking about, and LIE constantly. They use footage and videos/pictures from slaughterhouses etc that were taken more than 30 years ago, long before most animals rights laws were passed. They use them as if they were filmed recently just to tug at peoples heartstrings.

NEVER EVER donate or have anything to do with PETA if you actually like animals, donate your time and money to local shelters, aspca, breed rescues etc but NEVER to PETA.
