It is sheer genius to have this president, hard as it's gonna be, actually do some wise things for the country just this year to try to win re-election and then God help us what and how quickly he/they are going to slam us from every angle with more of their Communism, if he wins again.

I'll give her credit for making her own money, but I think any reasonable person would acknowledge that most single moms don't have a rich and famous family life to parlay into a speaking/writing/personal appearances career.
Jane Everyday Singlemom isn't generally offered a spot on Dancing With The Stars, so comparing Bristol to the average single mom is pretty disingenuous.

Amazing that you needed to point that out. The Palin clan stepped into $hit when the Neocons brought the Wasillian nitwit front and center. In their wildest dreams, the Palin's would never have reached this level of finances and comfort on their own volition. It was a twist of fate.
Palin didn't write a word of it. I hope the ghost writer got paid, though. If I had taken that job, I would have insisted on a royalty, but the real writer probably settled for a flat payment.
I think the writer must have had a hard time; Palin's second book was the work of another ghost writer who was nowhere as good as the first. That one was a total bomb. It never even recovered the printing costs.
I can only imagine the difficulty the ghost writer had keeping a straight face as they tried to cobble Palin's nonsensical, mostly fabricated BS narrative into a "book". Her "word salads" must have required acrobatic linguistics to mold into (semi)coherent sentences (Which is actually being charitable, as the book was pretty much unreadable dreck)
Palin could use a few more lectures. Then she might sound like she has a clue when she opens her mouth. Has she figured out what newspapers she reads on a daily basis yet?
