I can’t believe they let those conservative Demarcates set the agenda.

I’m going to vote independent in 2010 & I might vote that way in 2012 as well.

I think that this might be closer to "single payer" which is actually better.

When Obama came out with his original plan he was smart enough to know that there would have to be negotiating between both sides of the aisle. His original plan was so radical he knew he could give up alot of it to get some type of reform passed. JMO!

If they don't have the votes, they gotta do what they gotta do...

As someone else mentioned, in some respects, this may turn out better than the public option. Medicare may be available starting at age 55 rather than 65. That will help a lot of people who need it.

That darn obama is so smart I'll bet he knew that back when he was still in his mother womb!

Now, now. Try to be mature about this. Our two-party system is built on coalitions. Just because you don't your way, I don't think it's wise to stomp off and threaten to vote for a third-party.

I hope it is but I have a strong feeling that it isn’t. The Demarcates are trying there hardest to lose as many senate and house seats as possible. There is no other rational behind their actions.

No, actually, they're just trying to get something passed to make life better for average Americans. What is irrational is to expect perfection, and then throw a tantrum when you don't get things your way.
