Humans have a single emotional need. Few of us are aware of what that need is and are therefore subject to its demands. It gnaws at our souls and drives all other emotions. It accounts for lust, glee, ambition, jealousy, heroism, altruism, spite, disgust, rage, curiosity, crushes, bullying, hand holding, etc. It also makes people who fail to understand it dependent on others. What we see with the left's preoccupation with Palin and Prejean is this need on steroids. It is wholly dependent, parasitic and childish.
I'm not going to tell you what this need is. If you are able figure it out for yourself, then you are worthy of knowing it. If not, then you are a fundamentally ignorant individual who deserves nothing more than to live his life chasing his own tail.

Nobody is prohibiting her from saying anything. It's the hypocrisy that's being pointed out. If she was the moral Christian she claims to be, she wouldn't have made the videos. That simple.
I wish happy lives for both Carrie Prejean and Sarah Palin, I just wish they would have these happy wonderful lives privately where I don't have to listen or see them.
If you don't like media criticism, stay away from the media.

You're missing the point. Evangelical conservative women like Prejean and Palin set themselves up in moral judgment of others while acting all pious themselves. Then when their skeletons come out of the closet they try to spin them differently than when a liberal has made the exact same mistakes in life. That's why the word 'hypocritical' works so well to describe them.
In Prejean's case she lied to pagnent people when she said there were no nude photos or video ever made involving her. Then when they surfaced she lied again when she claimed she was a teenager when she made the photo-videos when it's been proven she didn't even meet the guy she sent them to until she was 20.
In Palin's case she made various comments about the "poor parenting" Jamie Spears received when she got pregnant out of wedlock but when her own daughter did the same we didn't see Palin take any of the blame for her own "poor parenting."
