That you are unable or unwilling to count those jobs doesn't matter to reality.

Another pile.

Were you ever introduced to negative numbers in grade school?
Let me try another equation, since the analogy didn't stick.

-7 million (negative seven million) + 640,000 = -6,360,000
Even with the stimulus we're still down.

-7 million + 0 (no stimulus) = -7,000,000
As you should be able to tell, we're down less.
C'mon people, this is basic math.

The economist I read most suggested it was too small. But even that economist didn't expect the recession to take so many free market jobs.
Compjockey, I've been reading the entertaining exchange between the two of you. All I can say to you is -- When you beat your head against a brick wall long enough -- it really feels good when you stop.

If you like the free market, there is nothing wrong with the unemployment rate, it's simply the way things are right now.

So, Repubs, should Obama and Congress try to do something to lower the unemployment rate or should we just let the "free market" take care of things?
I think you misunderstand. Most of the posts I have read from the right relate to Obama's interference in free markets prolonging the recession and thus unemployment. Hope this helps!

Could you give some examples?

And big business is ruining the country why exactly? Wouldn't it be in big business' interest to have a healthy ecoomy in the United States????????

The ignorance astounds me.
Exactly. The left tries to blame big business for the woes of the economy, but if big business were doing only what's in their best interest, and truly running the country, like the left preaches, the economy would be much different. It's just subject change after subject change with them.

It's amazing and sad to see that there are STILL so many people unable to see anything for themselves and only make their minds up on things based on a "D" or "R".

So many brainless minions. I'm glad more and more people are waking up to see that Bam Bam is in way over his head and was only elected because of his rock star status. His PR team deserved to win the Presidency, not him.
