of course it is: the comment was made, many would have had to declare bankruptsy if they had the same thing happen, my comment was NOPE, our laws, right or wrong would have covered the surgery if someone without insurance had gone to the emergancy room.

And we, the taxpayers, would have paid for it. Sort of like an underfunded, unplanned, chaotic UHC....
I certainly hope he recovers and has no complications. On a good note, we at least don't have people quoting and posting his inane rantings for a while.
If you were listening to his radio show yesterday, he left because he was sick. Last night on TV they said it was appendicitis and today on his radio show, they said he had an appendectomy. He's okay per the guy filling in for him right now.
