No. Other people aren't my responsibility. Only me.

No; especially if I didn't know what I was talking about, which seems to be the case with most celebs.

So now there's a qualification requirement for participation in political debate? This forum is in for hard times.

My reply was: No; especially if I didn't know what I was talking about, which seems to be the case with most celebs.

Meaning that if I was placed in a spot where I had a larger audience than I’d normally have I would not feel it was my duty to navigate the country in the direction I saw as the better one especially if I didn’t know what I was talking about.

What part of that led you to the conclusion that there was a qualification requirement for participation in political debate?

The problem we have now is that Paris Hilton or Selena Gomez will say “you should do this” and then people will actually run out and do it because the all-knowing celeb said so.

Entertainers are there for your entertainment; they should not be role models for your children, they should not be the base for political foundations, they should not be your personal stylist. You should watch their movies, listen to their albums and then promptly forget about them.

Unless they're on SNL and apparently slamming Obama.

Selena Gomez??? HAHA, that's as good as Miley Cyrus. Those people are so young they don't even register on the radar.

CV - Hollywood entertainers have a right to voice their opinions just as much as you. You seem to have a problem with the fact that they have an audience somewhat larger than this forum. Or is it the simple fact that they disagree with your childish politics?
