He has not changed, and instead has continued those same policies.

Because at heart, he's an ideological soulmate of Reagan, Bush I, etc.
I do not think he is at Heart. I think he sold himself out. Just like any politician would.

Remember that crap he spewed about ending lobbyists influences in Washington? HAHAHAH what a joke!

He ran as a Progressive (remember when Health Care was a "right"??) and is governing as a Corporatist- same as Bush I&II ( II was more radical), Clinton, and the old Ronnster.

Compare whatn he did with what FDR did.

Then compare the great pretender with his true predecessor, Grover Cleveland.

I just don't get the notion that the President "runs the economy." I hate that we are in the position where the public blames or praises the federal government for job losses or gains within the private sector.

The federal government need only provide sound money, a transparent judicial system, some infrastructure, & national security. They need to simply keep their noses out of the private sector wherever possible, and the market will correct itself.

you got that right!

the sad part is that americans had to sacrifice to support these corporate shills. we bailed out GM with taxpayer money (even though they knew it would not work), then they went bankrupt, and now they are moving some operations to china. what a total waste of taxpayer money!

they never needed to bail out the wall street titans either, but chose to do so. THEY RAN THEIR COMPANIES IRRESPONSIBLY AND SHOULD HAVE FAILED. what ever happened to the bonus clawbacks that they were at least going to get from the bailed out CEOs?

Too late.

Quote:
The NEA was allotted $80 million out of the $787-billion stimulus bill approved earlier this year by Congress and President Obama. Alliance Defense Fund special counsel Pat Trueman shares what he found upon close examination of the NEA's expenditures.

"The National Endowment for the Arts is using money from the stimulus bill, which was supposed to create economic activity, for the production of pornography," he states. "They've specifically given grants to companies that they know produce pornography -- primarily homosexual pornography."
