McCain was calling on a freeze of federal spending. Obama has expanded the government by a massive amount and his $4 trillion dollar budget is the main culprit.
The stimulus is an utter failure - it has failed to do what obama and biden said it would as they sold it to the American people.
He lied about the numbers, he ginned up the fear and panic if nothing was done. The CBO said in Jan 2009, the recession would end, WITHOUT GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION, by the end of 2009/early 2010. The stimulus was nothing more than a long list of liberal programs.
Seriously, are you all angry because you actually think it's Obama's fault?
Or are you angry that unemployment didnt' stay as low as he said it would have?

2) I question why can they not just be straight foward with us for ONCE! They talk to us like we are children. They spin and spin thinking we are stupid and will fall for it. I am sick of the condescending attitude politicians have toward us.

Could have sworn I saw Biden on the tube last night talking about how well the stimulus has worked. In fact, I specifically remember him saying it surpassed all expectations.
Oh, wait a minute, now I remember. The stimulus was never about creating jobs. I know they said that, but it is really just for buying votes in the next election. Well, I guess he's correct if the American people are too stupid to remember they've been scammed when they walk into the voting booths after having seen a bazillion brain-washing pro-Democrat ads paid for with borrowed tax dollars.
Biden is a buffoon! But Obama is so stupid he doesn't even realize he made a mistake picking him as his VP. On second thought - both of them are buffoons!!!
