Question: Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd it would have all gone differently under McCain, how???

Answer now:
McCain was calling on a freeze of federal spending. Obama has expanded the government by a massive amount and his $4 trillion dollar budget is the main culprit.

The stimulus is an utter failure - it has failed to do what obama and biden said it would as they sold it to the American people.

He lied about the numbers, he ginned up the fear and panic if nothing was done. The CBO said in Jan 2009, the recession would end, WITHOUT GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION, by the end of 2009/early 2010. The stimulus was nothing more than a long list of liberal programs.

Really thought this stimulus that we had to have or we might not ever recover was going to keep this from happening?

Didnt the white house predict that unemployement would only reach 8% or something like it this entire year?

good questions.

1) not Obama's fault.

2) I question why can they not just be straight foward with us for ONCE! They talk to us like we are children. They spin and spin thinking we are stupid and will fall for it. I am sick of the condescending attitude politicians have toward us.

Just read my post--#3. Joe Biden is touting how well everything is going. I mean its unbelieveable. Either they are dellusional or they just think we are stupid.

Yep....that is what Obama said. Apparently Obama just spews empty rhetoric and hasn't a clue what he is talking about.

In fairness he is no different then all of them. Im so sick of it. Biden telling us things are going just great-- I mean its "Mission Accomplished" all over again.

I am so sick of Politicians treating us like children. I believe it has alot to do with the tremendous amount of partisanship out there. Hmm. It is like they want it that way.

Could have sworn I saw Biden on the tube last night talking about how well the stimulus has worked. In fact, I specifically remember him saying it surpassed all expectations.

Oh, wait a minute, now I remember. The stimulus was never about creating jobs. I know they said that, but it is really just for buying votes in the next election. Well, I guess he's correct if the American people are too stupid to remember they've been scammed when they walk into the voting booths after having seen a bazillion brain-washing pro-Democrat ads paid for with borrowed tax dollars.

Biden is a buffoon! But Obama is so stupid he doesn't even realize he made a mistake picking him as his VP. On second thought - both of them are buffoons!!!
