Politicians aren't responsible for their adult kids' behavior, but Democrats are chuckling at the news that Michele Bachmann's
son has decided to join Teach for America, which is part of the AmeriCorps program that Bachmann once called "re-education camps."

Man, you can't make this stuff up!

I love the smell of irony in the morning!

OTOH, since mental illness does run in families (and I don't mean just that you catch it from your kids) I hope someone takes a close look at this kid before letting him run a re-education camp.

Good for him! Some of my co-workers are TFA and they're great at what they do--and passionate to boot. To give up two years of your life giving an education to low income kids--that's amazing.

And people wonder why I think most right wingers hate public education, and the people who work in them. Yeesh.

Great, I'm glad he is giving back to his country. He is obviously more of a American than his mother is.

I am willing to bet most of you don't even know who she is cause even I don't know who she is... which tells a lot about you... that you believe more in political ideology than reality... that's a shame... I only post because it seems that most of you like to take things out of context (which may not be that shocking to the other readers).. for me, you can hate financial companies, but that doesn't mean you hate ALL financial companies and as the article explain Teach for America is ONE of MANY different programs in that group... perhaps most of them suck which is why she said that (actually, that's more than likely)... but you can seek to distort things to make them more than they really are... cause you are behaving like typical liberals... its what everyone expects of you... and you have done such a great job of it in the past...

More proof that intelligence isn't genetic; luckily for Mr. Bachmann.
