You do know that jobs are the last to recover in a recession right? Given the magnitude that your boy Bush left us it is a know wonder. There are indicators that our positive like the housing market for one. People will need to purchase durable goods for those new houses so... With offshoring and bankruptcies and mergers we need jobs "created" not recovered.
