My blatant lie? Unlike you, my source puts it at 90%. Nothing else that you wrote merits a response; it's filled with nothing but false machismo, false GOP "talking points" and personal attacks. That might work with some women, but it simply marks you as an uninformed and shallow debater to me. Bully-boys are always the biggest cowards.
That is a very good question. I wish I had an answer, I truly do. I keep voting for real conservatives in every election since 1972, but none have won the GOP nomination since Reagan.
Part of the problem has to do with the conservative principle of a limited government. "That government is best which governs the least." By definition, real conservatives do not seek power, they seek to limit power. This means there will always be few real conservative actually running for public office.
It also means it is harder to campaign as a conservative, since they are not coming up with oodles of taxpayer funded give away programs like their more liberal counterparts always seem to do. too many Americans are of the mindset of "What will government give me" and a candidate who is not tossing around money like confetti at a parade will have tougher time getting votes.

Both Bush and LBJ had Congress massively increase domestic socialist spending while fighting a major overseas war. That is not exactly a conservative trait.
McCain would have switched parties in 2001, had not "Jumpin" Jim Jeffords beat him to it in May 2001. McCain is so liberal in fact, that Kerry seriously considered picking McCain as his 2004 running mate.
Bush and McCain have confused and muddied the image of conservatives, so that people see them as just watered down versions of a Democrat. Why vote for Democrat-lite, when they can vote for the real thing?

Palin does more than just pay conservative principles lip-service. This was why she was far more popular among Americans than McCain during the election, and why the liberal freaks and their media lackeys feel so threatened and need to denigrate her at every opportunity.
But the class bigots do not like her for her common up bringing, and her lack of Ivy League schools and her backwards Alaskan accent and her folksy demeanor. And still others do not like her because they cannot spin her as a stereotypical balding, rich snobbish, racist, sexist white guy.

Run for your lives, the rioteers are coming!!! That gal on the far right looks menacing.. flee for your lives!!!
He is merely giving his opinion, and many people agree with it.

No, he/she didn't dispute my "opinions" but rather chose to make a personal attack of it. I don't believe that I've yet referred to another poster as a "blatant liar." That goes beyond the pale, particularly when I was responding to other posters to begin with. There are many who agree with my opinions as well; that's why there was a major shift in the country in November. Care to cite any Democrat-initiated riots lately?

I could care less about searching for democrat riots, you are just upset because your lame attempt at finding republican riots amounted to 8 people shouting slogans. ROFL
As far as political shifts go, 0bama and his democrats in Washington are causing a dramatic shift in people's thinking. The democrat party, lead by 0bama, have shown America what happens when we give them the keys to the nation, trillions in record deficits, millions upon millions out of work, take over of GM and Chrysler, and never ending attempts at government power grabs over every aspect of our lives.
Come 2010, a drooling monkey could win an election contest over a democrat.

We will certainly see about that. You do remember, right, that the financial system imploded under a Republican Congress, a Republican Vice President (GWB was and is irrelevant), a Republican Federal Reserve and Treasury and a Republican SEC that still has no idea who or what Bernie Madoff is.

Didn't read it, did you? Then you missed the part about 250 GOP staffers being flown in to "riot." Not 8, but 250. You asked and I delivered; I asked and you fumbled the ball. ROFLMAO indeed.
