Americans are indeed watching, and we see who is doing the burning of the nation - liberal freaks. For the first time in US history, Democrats put into power someone who truly hates the very nation he is suppose to lead.

good point!

I'd google Morris Dees before I'd suggest that anyone go the Southern Poverty Law Center web site.

That is a very good question. I wish I had an answer, I truly do. I keep voting for real conservatives in every election since 1972, but none have won the GOP nomination since Reagan.

Part of the problem has to do with the conservative principle of a limited government. "That government is best which governs the least." By definition, real conservatives do not seek power, they seek to limit power. This means there will always be few real conservative actually running for public office.

Don't tell me - Sarah Palin?
You read correctly, Bush and McCain are hardly conservative, by any stretch of the imagination.

Bush expanded the size of the federal government more than any President since FDR when he nationalized airport security. Bush has more in common with LBJ than any other Republican President. Both Bush and LBJ had Congress massively increase domestic socialist spending while fighting a major overseas war. That is not exactly a conservative trait.

McCain would have switched parties in 2001, had not "Jumpin" Jim Jeffords beat him to it in May 2001. McCain is so liberal in fact, that Kerry seriously considered picking McCain as his 2004 running mate.

Governor Palin is indeed a real conservative. Even with a Republican controlled State Legislature, Governor Palin has no problem vetoing their excessive spending and limiting the size of State government. Unlike both Bush and McCain, or any Democrat, Governor Palin actually puts the US and State Constitutions above her own personal preferences. Like Sen. Goldwater, Gov. Palin does more than just pay conservative principles lip-service. This was why she was far more popular among Americans than McCain during the election, and why the liberal freaks and their media lackeys feel so threatened and need to denigrate her at every opportunity.

I have to laugh at this desciption when I just got done reading a discussion about tightening the laws on internet harassment after the sad Laurie Drew case. There was more than a few from the right who started yammering about how this is a conspiracy to attain the left's real goal of controlling the internet...and the left are the conspiracy nuts?

LOL

There is a reason they have become more angry ... they've finally realized just how messed up this country has become over the years due to the increasing socialist movement.

The Republican Party is the party of the rich white man. If you fit this discription then that says it all. If you don't then you're blind and ignorant. It is that simple. The Bush Admin. put us into trillions of dollars in debt. That is no secret. It will take a miracle for us to see any improvemment. They [Bush Admin] has ruined America. We are in so much debt to China that they will own us. I feel sorry for you who are so blinded by your party loyalty that you are unable to see the forest for the trees.

The blind and ignorant are those who think the Republican party is only for the white "rich" man. This ignorance is further demonstrated when you accuse the Bush administration of putting us into debt. If you had an education, you would know that Congress spends, not Presidents. Last time I checked, the Democrats have controlled Congress, and therefore ALL spending, since November 2006.

I truly feel sorry for people that have no education, because they will continue to remain utterly clueless the rest of their pathetic lives.

Its policies, the utterances of its leader between 2000-2008 (George W. Bush) and its current leader (Rush Limbaugh), the nasty tone of its political campaigns, and the history of the party in the last half century or so pretty much has made that the indelible impression among any people with a semblance of a clue........

What about January 2001-November 2006?

Make that January 2007. Because elections are in November, but the government doesn't transition until January. I know, it's only a two or three months, but accuracy matters.
