Looks like you did well in meaningless rhetoric 101.
In your first sentence you refer to those that disagree with you as dumb
hillbillies. Then describe their views in an exaggerated cartoonish manner.
One sentence. Two insults. Very economical use of the language.
Now to the meaningless rhetoric. I'll bet you a hundred bucks that you can not define
your above terms (m.f. - f.t. - Am. ex.) and give evidence and reason of how they
brought America 'to it's knees'.) I will also need a def. of 'America's knees' if you want
to claim that 100. As to the dramatic hook at the end ....... it needs a little something.

[Wet Blanket Flag On]

Though good hearted and concerned Americans wish to petition the government for redress of grievance, via a protest on the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, it is for naught.

Why?

The so-called abuses imposed by the Congress are all voluntary. You just don't know how and when you volunteered.

Remember, involuntary servitude is unconstitutional, but VOLUNTARY SERVITUDE is perfectly legal and proper.

I had my first inkling of the problem, when I learned I was a slave (via national socialism). At first, I was angry at government. Later, after reading the law - carefully - I realized that I was at fault. I had volunteered to be subject to and object of the myriad laws, rules, and regulations created under the authority of FICA / Social Security Act of 1935.

1. There is no law compelling one to participate.
2. There is no law punishing one who does not participate.
3. It is 100% voluntary.

(Yes, I realize that the majority of Americans BELIEVE that they must first enroll before they can work in their own country. But prove me wrong - write a polite letter to your congresscritter and senators, asking them for a copy of the law that requires ALL AMERICANS (not just U.S. citizens) to enroll before they can legally work in the United States of America {use the full name, not U.S.}. For more giggles, write to the SocSec Administrator in Baltimore, MD, and ask the same question. Better yet, ask for the official procedure to LEAVE voluntary socialist insecurity. They will not answer. Is that "Hotel California" playing in the background?)

For the sake of a thought experiment, assume that you believe me. And consider that 99.9% of the power of Congress is derived through consent - via your signature on the application for an account and number. And consider the ramifications if 51% of the American people decide to STOP VOLUNTEERING. (On the grounds that fraud and / or constructive fraud was used to induce your signature - and that you renounce all benefits associated with participation.)

The remaining 49%, of which the majority will be the entitled masses enjoying their socialist benefits, the officers in government, as well as the administrative bureaucracy whose careers depends on those "human resources", will be like a snake eating its own tail... and getting smaller every day.

Sigh.

Frankly, if I went back in time 30 years, and told myself what I know today, I wouldn't believe me, either.

Check out the links, for yourself, and if you feel inspired, write the letters. Better yet, go to your county courthouse law library - and start reading. It takes time to learn the jargon and construction of legalese, but it is worth the effort.
Remember, before there were "licensed" lawyers, all it took to be a lawyer was the ability to READ THE LAW. (Like Abe Lincoln!)

Introduction

Final thought

I will leave you with this example of the generation that founded these united States of America.

Virginia Constitution, 1776.
SEC. 6. That elections of members to serve as representatives of the people, in assembly, ought to be free; and that all men, having sufficient evidence of permanent common interest with, and attachment to, the community, have the right of suffrage, and cannot be taxed or deprived of their property for public uses, without their own consent, or that of their representatives so elected, nor bound by any law to which they have not, in like manner, assembled, for the public good.
All men ... cannot be taxed without their own consent.
All men ... cannot be deprived of their property for public uses without their own consent.
All men ... cannot be bound by any law that is not for the public good.

He who consents cannot complain!

You may (or may not) be interested in the Social Security Administration's take on this. See: Social Security History FAQs Internet Myths
"Myths and misstatements of fact frequently circulate on the Internet, in email and on websites, and are repeated in endless loops of misinformation. One common set of such misinformation involves the history of the Social Security system."

"Myth 1: President Roosevelt promised that participation in the program would be completely voluntary

"Persons working in employment covered by Social Security are subject to the FICA payroll tax. Like all taxes, this has never been voluntary. From the first days of the program to the present, anyone working on a job covered by Social Security has been obligated to pay their payroll taxes.

"In the early years of the program, however, only about half the jobs in the economy were covered by Social Security. Thus one could work in non-covered employment and not have to pay FICA taxes (and of course, one would not be eligible to collect a future Social Security benefit). In that indirect sense, participation in Social Security was voluntary. However, if a job was covered, or became covered by subsequent law, then if a person worked at that job, participation in Social Security was mandatory.

"There have only been a handful of exceptions to this rule, generally involving persons working for state/local governments. Under certain conditions, employees of state/local governments have been able to voluntarily choose to have their employment covered or not covered."
To get back to the thread, I have no problem with the tea parties. No interest in joining them or hearing about them, but no problem either. We are free to protest whatever we choose. So, to teabaggers everywhere I say, go for it, and knock yourselves out - have a ball!

A question for you, who does not believe in the necessity of social security, and, I suppose, pension plans.

Do you assume that all Americans are capable of providing for their own senior years? By that I mean that they have the foresight to put off satisfying immediate needs/wants in favor of assiduously saving for a far distant future. And, that they also have the financial acumen to invest wisely.

My state pension and SS provide for a comfortable lifestyle - not sumptuous, but comfortable. As with many Americans, my investments - which were ample - tanked over the last year or so, and if they had been my sole income, I would be in dire straits right now.

So, how do you propose taking care of the many, many seniors who will ineffectively plan for their senior years? Should we let them starve, freeze, succumb to disease and infection? Or, should we anticipate the need and have them "involuntarily" participate in a government sponsored insurance program, like....Social Security?

As for the 'tea parties', when I hear about them, I envision Alice and the Mad Hatter - which pretty much describes the participants....

>>>> Well, under Obama's health care plan, seniors will be discouraged from or denied expensive healthcare treatments so that will succumb to disease and infection. And yes, they will freeze when they can't afford to heat their homes with the cap and trade bill.
Higher taxes will starve some out as they won't be able to afford to pay for food. So are you bashing Obama AND the conservatives or just bashing Obama?
