You will find no centrist thinking coming from Beck, but if you are a centrist you will see that soon enough for yourself.

To me Beck is just another commentator, a man lucky enough to secure a great gig just talking and giving opinions. Some of those opinions are probably well informed and others are likely not. Just intuitive opinions. Like debunking global warming because of a recent cold wave hitting the midwest. Kinda dopey / simplistic reasoning if you ask me. Anyway, I am certain I am more liberal than this man but it does not mean I can't learn something from him. In fact, there is something to learn in every dialogue / conversation we hear or participate in whether we agree or not. But GB is not compelling enough for me to spend any discernable time listening to him or buying his books.

A reported went to the streets and read excerpts from Common Sense to Democrats and asked if they agreed with what was written. EVERYONE of them said yes! You should have seen the look on their faces when they were told it was written by Beck from Fox News. It was classic!

They were all victims of left winger propaganda, Beck bad, Fox News bad. They all had egg on their faces. What fools.

Wake up. We are all victims of the propaganda. Doesn't matter if it is left or right. If you are going to tell us that the left is the only "side" that uses propaganda, you are sadly mistaken.

I see that you have read "Common Sense". In case you haven't you may want to read the Payne book by the same title that appears in the Beck version. Most people who haven't read the book, either version, really don't know what Beck really is trying to say. Most who avoided the book from the first tended to be lefties who believed all the lefty propaganda about the Beck version. That is what kept you from it, I think.

I have watched a few minutes of GB on TV. I don't see anything but partisan mudslinging just like I do from Hannity, Olbermann et all. Perhaps my sample viewing is too small to judge him. So enlighten me all you GB fans. Each day GB seems to spout off about this and that but his books speak his message? Can you spell out his message in a nutshell? I don't have the time or desire, to read his book(s).

If people think "common sense" is a groundbreaking way to think I have to wonder what their brain has been doing it's whole life. Does that mean most people have been blithering idiots until now? Because I can get behind that idea.

Perhaps it's not as common as it should be. Sense, that is...

The underlined is the differance between a liberal and a conservative. The liberal turns their back, shuts down the brain and obeys the propaganda and joins in the group-think. The conservatives ears perk up and wants to hear the other idea before it is dismissed. They want to decide for themselves.
