Is "hmmmmmmmm" something wingnuts use when they have nothing important to say?
"Pirates have vowed revenge for the deaths of three colleagues at the hands of U.S. snipers rescuing Capt. Richard Phillips, as well as for two others slain by French forces in a separate rescue last week."
There was a pirate hijacking recently of a ship with a US crew ,perhaps you missed it?
The Pirates also claimed they would retaliate for the deaths of five of their comrades...it is all there in the link.
Perhaps you should read it?
How is it retaliation when the same thing (as you claim) has been happening for some time? Your own logic defeats your own position. Criminals will be criminals.
"Despite Mullen's confident statement and President Barack Obama's warning of further U.S. action, Somali pirates captured two more nautical trophies Tuesday to match the two ships they seized a day or two earlier."
Looks like they aren't afraid of Obama or Adm. Michael Mullen...

They haven't killed an American yet, but it sounds as if they are saying that they are going to.
If the nations of the world really want to stop piracy, perhaps they should follow the recent example put forth by the French, Russians and the US. Go take back what was taken with extreme prejugdice. Make the pirates learn the cost of their actions.
In the time of the Roman empire, a citizen of Rome could go anywhere in the world without fear of violence. This was because the world knew that attacking a citizen of Rome would bring immediate and terrible retribution to them. Seemed to work for the Romans, why not now?

Just my opinion.
Because those that voted for Obama thinks that he can just sit down and talk them out of doing their bad deeds on the high seas..

Show us America's deed to the world.
