I'm not worried about death. I'm worry about YOU causing my death because of something as trivial as a phone conversation. I'll die when I die; but it damn sure shouldn't be because your cell phone and the ear attached to it killed me.
Bit off topic, but I think it really boils down to many folks not placing any value at all on human life. Pretty sad.

You have nothing to fear there. I despise cell phones, and it will be a cold day in Hades before I choose to carry one. They are nothing more than an electronic leash that people willingly hitch about their necks.
But I feel no need to regulate the behavior of other individuals because I see a minority of drivers do something dumb. Heck, why not ban traffic lights because someone might run a red light and kill someone?
Life is unpredictable, and the only aspect of it that is 100% certain is that we all become worm chow. And something as draconian as this, which I believe also wanted to ban talking on a hands-free device, will neither stop nor delay the inevitable.
