Really? Because the ego maniac Giuliani invoked Reagan's name 10,000,000 times during the nominations?

If Gooliani invoked Reagan's name 10,000,000 times, then he invoked 9-11 10,000,001 times.

Heres the problem

It wasnt so much Reagans union busting ideas that set this trend in motion. Doing this is how he served his constituents who hired him for this purpose.

The real scoundrels were the democratic congressman and senators who traded their union protectionist platform for pork and payola. Ya see Ive lived this very scenario in the auto industry being a career machinist from Michigan. We would go to the polls like robots and vote for our democratic representatives like the union program loop instructed. Then, if you dared to check how these scumbags actually voted, you saw that they were all onboard with removing tariffs, globalization, NAFTA and all the other "free trade" garbage that ultimately weakened unions and sent millions of jobs over seas.

Im not interested in the propoganda you bring back from some biased website. Ive lived it, it cost me a career, it was the democrats I voted for that betrayed me

We can easily trace this decline to Reagan's first public declaration of war on the middle class when he went after the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO) in 1981. He broke the back of the air-traffic controllers' union and began the practice of using the Department of Labor -- traditionally the ally of workers -- against organized labor and working people."

Despite crash of October 1987, by early 1989 Dow Jones Index is three times its level of 1980, though still lower in inflation adjusted terms than in 1973.

I cannot fault you for being bitter, but that is why it is important to check a reps voting record and then vote them in or out of office. The OP asked what was so great about Reagan and that is what I was responding to. Reagan was certainly not this bigger than life god that they attempt to make him out to be. Definitely not.
