So Californians are liberal on most issues except when it comes to gay marriage which is the only issue where they take a right of center conservative approach. No doubt it has to do with the fact Cali has a large Mexican Catholic population. Proposition 8 sure as hell did not pass because of the White Evangelical population that's for damn sure because there aren't too many of those in California. I am sure there are going to be alot of girly men and butch dykes at San Francisco's Castro street that are going to cry themselves to sleep tonight.

Now, this is purely my theory and I advertise it as such. But Latino's tend to be more religious (see Catholicism) and since they outnumber the more liberal Anglos, I think Cali will continue down this road.

Do you have anything to say about it, other that "what"?

I'm actually hoping that with the democratic house senate and president, along with liberal appointed judges, that something will be done at the national level to finally put this overbearing of the majority to rest. Look for it haters... its coming!

It's a sad day when people celebrate taking rights away from others.

I think I might need to start learning French and learning Canadian history....

After all when it comes to the issue of gay marriage, they are not as socially liberal as their Starbucks sipping California Anglo counterparts.
I was not blaming immigrants
