I just don't think I can handle it any longer, and I'm wondering if anyone else has come to the same conclusion. We are world's apart. It's a values judgement I've come to and, more importantly, it's a decency as a human being judgement. Who is with me and what is your political persuasion?

I can't stand liberals. In my experience, they always have a sense of entitlement. In fact, I have no recollection, as an adult, of ever liking a liberal. I hate them. I mean, I seriously hope the West Coast goes into the ocean and no one escape.

Does that sound bad?

It doesn't sound nice. And I am very fond of the West Coast, actually, and lived there for 13 years and miss it.

Most of my friends are hold extremely different political views. Some communist, some anarchocapitalist, some libertarian, some European liberal. They're all thinkers though... and few subscribe to the rhetoric of either of the major parties here in the US.

There are more ways to solve a problem than the one that you cling to... if yours is so great, you should have no problem debating it amongst friends. It's when ideas are discouraged that we wind up with the political system we have today in America...

Ahh, the only thing is...we are hitting the tree because of "that one."

It sounds silly because there are people who I believe you would really like personally who don't believe as you do. I have friends who would be there for me in a heartbeat who don't share my political views.

Well... if you're a liberal... hurry back before the big one!

Yeah, if it weren't for this disaster of an economy due to right wing ideology, I might be able to.

My position is that if you're a liberal (in the "progressive/socialist/communist" vein) then you are a person who is oppressive (and, again, always, IME, having a sense of entitlement.) I don't associate with bad people.

Just because someone will help push a car out of the road isn't what makes people friends... and if that's what it takes for you, I guess that's why most people can't grasp why people are defined by their friends.
