I thought the building might come down. Our buildings are not designed for earthquakes. I’ve felt a few small ones in NJ but this was by far the strongest and longest one.
they have since revised up to 4.8 and the depth down to 2.9 miles. The govt has already deemed this not a serious event, stand down while they inspect the runways, bridges and tunnels in an around NYC
The epicenter was in central New Jersey, not New York.
